Jagged Little Pill

DEDICATED to all those Bloodied, Bruised, and Broken-hearted.

"Well, life has a funny way of sneaking up on you when you think everything's okay, and everything's going right."

"I recommend getting your heart trampled on to anyone, yeah. I recommend walking around naked in your living room, yeah."

Fashion Fitz recommends retail therapy, wrecking and revamping your avatar to reflect your current mood. It's a good idea to start with a naked palette, fashDears (Yes, that means new skin. Minnu Model Halloween Gift #3, a freebie, is perfect.). No need to save naked for your living room, it's SL, make sure the region is mature. *smirks*

If you MUST wear clothes, make sure they're comfy. I'm warm and cuddly (after the beating life has given me) in the red Stacey sweater by Gaia Goodnight of Darkstar Designs. The sweater has prim collar and cuffs, covers the body bruises nicely. (Thanks Gaia, for replacing the sweater and my beloved Syd hair when LL ate them! You're a doll!)

"Swallow it down (what a jagged little pill). It feels so good (swimming in your stomach). Wait until the dust settles. You LiVE, you learn. You LOVE, you Learn. You CRY, you LEarn. You LOsE, you LEArn. You BLeeD, you LEARn. You sCREaM, you LEARN."

When life craps on you, fashWounded, crap right back--in a padded cell at The Asylum. Phoenix Plymouth and Morten Oto (the avs with the butterfly nets and multi-buckled fashAsylum wear) encourage you fashDeranged to "wander aimlessly and behave erratically." I have finally found a place that sanctions my modus operandi.

"I recommend biting off more than you can chew to anyone (I certainly do)."

The edit of Boing Fromage's Plaid Cuffed BoyShorts flexi belt and prim cuffs was more than I could chew--the process bloodied my face, bruised my heart, and made me stomp my feet in frustration. (Don't EVEN try sitting once you've edited! *pouts*)

"I recommend sticking your foot in your mouth at any time yeah, yeah. Feel free."

Boing Fromage MaryJane color-changeable flats, fashLicKin' good enough to eat! Vinyl is an easy wipedown for sanitary mouthing. So many options: metal change, sole, vinyl, leather--all with an easy hud. (These fashYumMmmies more than make up for the fashBeating the BoyShorts gave me!)

"Throw it down (the caution blocks you from the wind). Hold it up (to the rays). You wait and see when the smoke clears."

NOW is the time to take some fashRiSKs. Never worry about matching, fashDahlin's...especially when your mood is black. Remember--anything goes with black.

"You GRiEVe, you learn. You cHoKE, you Learn. You LaUGh, you LEarn. You CHOoSe, you LEArn. You PRaY, you LEARn. You aSK, you LEARN. You LiVE, you LEARN."

"And life has a funny way of helping you out when you think everything's gone wrong, and everything blows up in your face."

Of cawse, helping yourself to some fashGoodies is how we heal, fashDowntrodden's! Don't forget your elka Lehane of Boing Fromage Owl necklace, owls are a wise fashChoice as you live and learn. Even after the swelling goes down and the bruises fade, you'll be fashDelish. (Plus, some days you just feel like looking like your Granny.)

Feel it in your Bonez!

On a mission to win the Super Skinny Skank Model Contest, Fashion Fitz plunges into a radical diet. Subsisting on celery prims and Linden ocean water for weeks, her desired mesh weight is attained. Having lost nearly all of her friends due to her increasingly foul mood, Fashion Fitz contemplates her new look through the eyes of her last fashFriend, Harrd Rhode.

"Biatch, yer bonez are showing."

"You know I LOVE da BONEZ!!! *huff* Besides, I'm gonna be a Super Skinny Skank Model."

"You got the Skinny Skank right. *scowls in disgust* You look, and ACT like Cruella DeVille."

Fitz's eyes piercing Harrd, tummy rumbling, anger and hunger mixed like two twisted demons battling for domination--Harrd suddenly looks awfully tasty. {{{dream sequence}}} (Visions of Harrd rump roast, Fashion Fitz droolz.)

Hairs standing on end on the back of Harrd's neck, Fitz's hollow, hungry eyes burning into his arse, "Say Fitz, don't you know anorexic models are soooo last season?" In a hurried attempt to save his own ass, Harrd flies to Kitchen Korner where he knows Chef Karamel Madison and Chef DavidDM Therian have been cooking and baking 24/7 (it's true, they never stop.). Harrd promises a super skanky sale to lure Fashion Fitz, but quickly teleports her to Kitchen Korner's king-sized kitchen with overflowing banquet tables. (Kitchen Korner has free dining and samples, figures, Harrd always was a cheap bastage.)

Fitz is bonier by the minute (look, her skull is even showing!); she hates cooking anyway, and Harrd would be a tough swallow without hours of marinating and some turning on a spit. Harrd shoves berry pie a la mode in Fitz's hand, a giant cookie--anything to fatten and fill Fitz. She greedily gobbles the delightful dishes like a pack of rescued puppy mill dogs.

Fashion Fitz's gnawing hunger satiated, finally meshed out a fraction, she finds enough energy to dance for fashJoy!

"Hmmm...maybe I'll wait for Semi-Skinny Skank Model's to open, and apply there? Until then, I'll just be satisfied being a fashSkank!"

*Harrd rolls his eyes.*

Prokofy Neva, NEVAH AGAIN!

A Tale of "Home LAGGY Home"
and Prokofy Neva's Anger Management Issues

Favorite FashQuote of Prokofy Neva: "my customers and readers will learn about your idiotic empty-headed fashion idiocy : )"

A patient tenant waits eight laggy days...sure, you allow a few days for Linden Lab's little idiosyncrasies, and then a few more days for good-natured benefit of the doubt. Howevah, aftah eight days of being stuck in Ravenglass Rental Winnipeg quicksand, and having to teleport elsewhere (like shopping WOOT!) to alleviate the lag, it's becoming a bothah (as Pooh would quip). The final test was Calla's weekend hair hunt with a full sim! (I know, I tried to teleport someone! It was awesome! *satisfied smile*) I was not unduly laggy in Callatropia, moved freely, enjoyed my hair hunt happiness.

Finally, today I arrive in-world, greeted by RavenLAG. I politely message Prokofy Neva for assistance. I was kind, I'm a real life business owner, I know how to handle these issues. I informed Prokofy of my lag issues, wondered if the rotating rental signs near my home could be moved in favor of a less lag-inducing alternative.

It was a friendly request, but Prokofy (is it coinkidink that her name is so like PROVOKify? *grins*) has taken great liberty to slander and misquote me on her blog, Second Thoughts. I was never rude, as she states about the initial conversation, and as evidenced by the actual (partial) conversation that she pasted into her post. I'm not worried about Prokofy's slander--those who know my character will know the truth. The best proof is watching Prokofy go OFF on me and say I'm a LIAR because I have a complaint about her sim's lag?!? (That's pure comedy!) Doesn't she know I have bettah things to do than request help with RavenLAG? Like shopping! *giggles*

I continued being nice after she berated me (prior to the quote listed on her site.) I thought it was over at this point (here's me...resigned to RavenLAG):
[17:00] Loren Fitzgerald: Thanks for looking into it Prokofy. ;o) [17:00] Second Life: User not online - message will be stored and delivered later. [17:00] Loren Fitzgerald: Oddly enough I don't lag shopping, but I do every single day at our house now. Perhaps it's just a signal that it's time to buy land. Thanks for the assistance. ;o)
But it wasn't over by a long shot. (Feel free to read the partially-quoted conversation on Prokofy's blog.) Essential details following:

[17:05] Prokofy Neva: buying land will not change things for you, Loren, the problem could well be on your own side, there's nothing magically conferred to you buy buying a deed on an island or buying mainland. I would suggest you go up north to the newest sims with nothing on them, or go to, say, Ravenglass Realm, one of our class five island sims, and see if you have the same problems on sims like that, before buying!
[17:06] Loren Fitzgerald: no, i only lag in your sim
[17:06] Loren Fitzgerald: sorry
[17:06] Loren Fitzgerald: home is it
[17:06] Loren Fitzgerald: i went to a packed sim this weekend
[17:06] Prokofy Neva: well that's your own subjective experience, and I can't change that for you
[17:06] Loren Fitzgerald: less lag than winnepeg
[17:06] Prokofy Neva: it's not something to do with the sim itself, there is no "lag in Winnipeg" I had Lindens check it
[17:07] Loren Fitzgerald: every single day, i live it
[17:07] Prokofy Neva: Loren, I realize these ideas are very deepseated, but I can send you the chat log with the Lindens
[17:07] Loren Fitzgerald: you can disagree, that's your opinion
[17:07] Loren Fitzgerald: i don't complain about NOTHING
[17:07] Prokofy Neva: it's not about disagreement, it's about presenting you with the facts from the Lindens
[17:07] Loren Fitzgerald: i'm not a complainer
[17:07] Prokofy Neva: and from other fellow tenants
[17:07] Loren Fitzgerald: i have a justified problem
[17:07] Prokofy Neva: it's your right to press refund for any reason if you aren't happy
[17:07] Prokofy Neva: but I'm trying to explain to you: your lag is not on this sim
[17:07] Loren Fitzgerald: and when i lag less in Calla weekend treasure hunt full sim
[17:07] Loren Fitzgerald: there's a problem
[17:08] Prokofy Neva: otherwise I'd feel it, other tenants would feel it
[17:08] Loren Fitzgerald: okay, it's just me
[17:08] Loren Fitzgerald: np
[17:08] Loren Fitzgerald: lol
[17:08] Loren Fitzgerald: i'll buy some less laggy land
[17:08] Loren Fitzgerald: np
[17:08] Prokofy Neva: there is no such thing as "less laggy land" Loren
[17:08] Prokofy Neva: don't be silly
[17:08] Loren Fitzgerald: yep there is
[17:08] Loren Fitzgerald: every other sim i frequent
[17:08] Loren Fitzgerald: less laggy than my current home
[17:08] Loren Fitzgerald: sadly
[17:09] Prokofy Neva: then...why does no one else on this sim have this problem?
[17:09] Prokofy Neva: try to grasp that
[17:09] Prokofy Neva: it's not "laggy" except for you
[17:09] Loren Fitzgerald: idk, i gave it 8 days
[17:09] Loren Fitzgerald: hoping it would get better
[17:09] Loren Fitzgerald: then i asked for help
[17:09] Prokofy Neva: ok, Loren, press refund, I've done would I could for you, bye
[17:09] Loren Fitzgerald: apparently that was my problem lol
[17:09] Prokofy Neva: I helped you, no need to be nasty about it
[17:09] Loren Fitzgerald: you're the one being nasty here
[17:09] Loren Fitzgerald: i was nice
[17:09] Prokofy Neva: seriously, no one ties you to something you are not happy in
[17:09] Loren Fitzgerald: you press issues
[17:10] Loren Fitzgerald: it's ridiculous
[17:10] Loren Fitzgerald: i know what i experience there
[17:10] Loren Fitzgerald: i WISH i didn't
[17:10] Prokofy Neva: I press the issue because you claim that my sim is laggy, like it's some deliberate fault of mine or the sim
[17:10] Prokofy Neva: and when I have false reports like that, I address them
[17:10] Loren Fitzgerald: i'm not saying it's your deliberate fault
[17:10] Loren Fitzgerald: wow
[17:10] Prokofy Neva: move along if you aren't happy for any reason, Loren bye
[17:10] Loren Fitzgerald: you're a jumper
[17:10] Loren Fitzgerald: i'll happily move, Prok
[17:10] Loren Fitzgerald: hope never to deal w/u again
[17:11] Prokofy Neva: yeah, that's mutual : )
[17:11] Prokofy Neva: I like people who tell the truth, for one, and don't lie
[17:11] Prokofy Neva: : )
[17:11] Loren Fitzgerald: lmao just cos your sim is laggy i'm a liar? funny
[17:11] Prokofy Neva: especialy after I spend an hour checking a sim and even rousting up Lindens, just in case they are realyl having an issue
[17:11] Prokofy Neva: yes
[17:11] Prokofy Neva: because you're claiming it is laggy, when it is not, not for me, not for 20 other people on it, not for Lindens, who in fact reset sims that have lag
[17:12] Loren Fitzgerald: you're a real piece of work, like i need to use my time iming ppl when i should have a non-laggy experience in my home
[17:12] Prokofy Neva: so....that means it is your problem, and you will take it with you
[17:12] Prokofy Neva: have fun!
[17:12] Prokofy Neva: good luck finding lag-free sims when the problem may be inside you
[17:12] Prokofy Neva: bye!
[17:12] Loren Fitzgerald: yeah, you're a problem. there's the biggest issue of all, anger management of Prokofy. WOW way to run a business, NOT
[17:12] Loren Fitzgerald: and i have a blog, good idea to piss off a blogger
[17:13] Prokofy Neva: hehehe I am not angry, I'm waiting on a customer who is unreasonably entitlement happy
[17:13] Prokofy Neva: um, welcmoe to my blog baby : )
[17:13] Loren Fitzgerald: great customer service, Prok, i'll be letting fashion planet/world readers know about your idea of customer service.
[17:19] Prokofy Neva: Please do! meanwhile my customers and readers will learn about your idiotic empty-headed fashion idiocy : )

[17:20] Loren Fitzgerald: fan it, Prok, i'm going to quote you on that.

That little nasty exchange ovah, I'll continue with my "empty-headed fashion idiocy," happily homeless (until I find another sim which doesn't LAG!). I'm sure we've all experienced the horse's hiney of customer DISservice, thankfully, our many designer's, rental agents, and store owners are NORMALLY absolutely FABULOUS on customer service. I tip my idiotic fashion head to all who handle customer service issues with grace! *fashHUGS (Gawd, I need a group fashHUG!)*

PERSONA-lly, I love it! ;o)

A Day in the Life of
Divorce Attorney
Noelle Nemesis

Sitting at my desk, looking the ravishing fashCuhYouT attorney that I am, perusing the Kline's divorce papers. *Gasp* They each get half of a toy poodle?!? What kind of settlement is that?

Sigh...that kind of shock was enough to make me drop my morning coffee all over my Myllie Writer Persona Cable Knit jumper...fashHorrors! (Almost as beastly as halving a poodle!) Oh dear, it's going to be one of THOSE days! Thank goodness my heavy mug didn't dent my desk by Leviathan Akami of Leviathan Evans Designs. If it's built by Leviathan, it's apparently built to last.

Quick dash home, might as well be fashCuhyoot and comfy (even if the halved poodle isn't). Thank God, my Persona Furry Sweater is clean! YAY! Ready to dash out the door, one quick check in the mirror. *smiles* Myllie Writer knows how to turn my frown upside down, and make me look fashtastic in this Persona plaid prim skirt (with intelliskirt), and Persona creamsicle orange woolen tights! I'm so in love with Myllie's woolen tights! Ah dew declare, with sassy Slink's Suede Mary Janes in pumpkin (FREE! in pumpkin and butternut until November 1!) I'm set to save that poor poodle's life! Divorce Attorney, Noelle Nemesis, to the rescue again! (But if that poodle picks my woolen tights, I'll halve him myself! *grins*)

I'm in Heaven...

Digit Darkes released Autumn Tulle skirts yesterday. Unfortunately, the skirts I blogged on Tuesday were not quite finished! OoOOps, sorry Digit! So heeere's the completed fash-fix (thanks, Sasy Scarborough, for helping me rectify the mistake)! The skirts were great before, even bettah now! Each skirt comes with the option of two different belts: ribbon belt, a sweet sash (pictured in blood); or the interlocking D logo belt which has a more urban feel (pictured in chocolate). The addition of the belt is divine, Digit, they rock my panties! (If I was wearing any! *smiles*)

All of these pictures find me in Digit Darkes' fashYumMMMmy Fur Bomb Crop Jacket. This coat is as elegant as anything in Melania Trump's closet, easily taking you to the most ostentatious parties this winter season. (Digit promises no furries were harmed in the making of this jacket!)

All of these pictures were taken in Joy's Heaven, a romantic dance spot in the clouds.

Digit Darkes = Pure JOY!

I have had a longtime love affair with Digit's latex, among many of her other designs. Latex longing brought me to this review skirt set! Digit is one of those warm-hearted designer's who picks you up when Linden Lab's lets you down. While altruistically replacing my prized bright pink liquid latex halter (I always feel like Malibu Barbie wearing this!), Digit Darkes multiply blessed me with these fashboyant autumn tulle skirts, released October 10th! The autumn tulle skirts come in gradations or solids; above I'm wearing the gradations deep royal with Blaze's Allure halter in blue (part of outfit).

Candy it up!, hott pink autumn tulle gradations skirt just keeps getting more cotton candy sweet when topped with the Digit Darkes bright pink liquid latex halter. Don't you want to eat me up? I'm a veritable fashDelight! ;o) Dress it up!, Armidi's Gisaci Sequined Midsummer Night camisole (part of outfit) flows elegantly into the solid chocolate autumn tulle skirt, the final glam touch...Tuxedo Pumps by Fallingwater Cellardoor of Shiny Things. Punk it out!, PixelDolls PixelLounge Stripe Mix jacket layer (part of outfit) atop Digit Darkes red liquid latex halter makes temperatures rise over the blood gradations autumn tulle skirt. This spunky combo is aptly accessorized with ! Skanks-R-Us Layered Lust collar, Earthtones Grazia bracelet in Bloodstone, and Syd hair by Gaia Goodnight of Sh*t Happens and Darkstar Designs.

My Sis, Viv Coppola, and I both love Digit Darkes' skirts because Digit is the Mistress of Motion. Pictured above is the tulle gown skirt in black, modeled by Viv. Sis is wearing it with her, "I can't be arsed by you Aussie's cos we squashed your bloody bums in the rugby world cup 1/4 finals" rugby shirt.

Moooove it, you like to move it, move it? She like to move it!! Check out the fluid, fashinating movement in these skirts! Move that sexy body down to Romantic Joy, a fanciful sim. Heavenly dancing in the clouds of Joy, the perfect backdrop for you fashDahlin's in this skirt, swaying with your fashSweetie's. Romantic Joy invites you to lover's lane, gazebos, a terrific tree house, and autumn leaves fluttering gracefully from trees alongside babbling brooks and picnic blankets. In an interview with the builder and owner, Aniine Susanto, Fashion Fitz asked, "Aniine, what was your inspiration and vision for your sim?" Aniine replied, "Actually, I started in one end without any plans, just followed my mood. I wanted cute and cozy. In one part, I wanted to make a memory of childhood fairytales, you know, the princess in a castle. I am changing the place all the time." Visions of loveliness: you fashDahlin's in Digit Darkes awesome autumn tulle skirt standing in pure JOY! Congratulations to two creative geniuses!

Hair Club for Men

Being a bald person in second life has just gotten easier! Today I visited Simply Britnee , nice little shop with male and female wigs. Lets take a look around and see what is up with all this hair. By the first glance, I see all hair is L$150. That to me is a great price for what you receive. Looking around the store you will find over 40 styles of men's hair. The color options are endless. You may end up with over 40 different options with each hair purchase. Most all basic
colors are covered with this purchase. With the color options and the highlights for only L$150 this is a great deal.
I wear several hair selections from this shop. Today I am wearing *Brits* Armando. This hair seems to wear very nice, some minor adjustments may be needed. Below is another *Brits* Brandon UK. This hair set also wears very nice. I like how you get some hair hanging lower on the forehead. You get the 40 plus color variations with this purchase also.
Here you will see some of the other options you can have with these two different hairstyles. Not a bad deal if you ask me. Why go with one color? Change that look daily.
I found this great looking red and white hair today! Only paid L$1 for this one! Woot,Woot! Think I may head down and see what all the ladies are laughing about. Did I also mention that they also sell female hair? Yep is true! Come on down and check this place out.

Cya out there. Have fun! and visit: Simply Britnee

Armidi OPENS Saturday!

Saturday, October 6, Armidi opens its sim doors to the masses of hair, clothing, and accessory hungry throngs. Walking down the streets of Armidi's sim, one feels the virtual presence of Rodeo Drive. Opulent architecture begs you to enter each store, and you are not disillusioned. Clothes, lingerie (L$225), shoes (L$375), belts (L$175), hair (L$325 per female color set), sunglasses, handbags, eyes, and manicure sets await you inside.

Designer's Nicole David, Lola Marquez, and Liam Oliver have brought us fashion as stimulating as top RL fashion houses. In an interview with Nicole David, Fashion Fitz asked, "Are you patterning your designs after Armani or Versace? I get a very upscale, exclusive vibe here." Nicole replied, "Armidi was inspired by a lot of things we've seen in RL, but no particular brand. We offer upscale and casual stores."

I purchased the Sequined Midsummer Night Dress (gold) for L$245. This cocktail dress is perfect for parties, weddings, or walking your SL dog (there's no excuse for looking shabby, fashDahlin's!). A slight disappointment is that the only layer provided for underneath the skirt is an underwear layer of the glitch underpants; a minor inconvenience outweighed by the sheer fashLuxury of this dress.

I also bought the Milano wig in the light blonde collection (four blonde tones are provided). Modern elegance exudes from this Heidi Klum-like hairstyle. The texture is divine, one of the best blonde textures I've seen in SL. In essence, you'll come for the hair, but you'll stay for every fashUlickin' good item offered in the variety of stores in this sim! Prepare to be stunned, fashDahlin's!

Heavenly Rings from Hell

The great thing about the Jewelry Expo was getting to see work by designer's I had no clue about previously. I had been on a massive SL hunt for a perfect prim ring without success. Infernal's booth with rings (among other things) by Accacia Brissot brought me to primtastic heaven! I loved the Ever After platinum bridal ring so much, I had Harrd take a look at the groom's ring. These are wedding rings, but why wait for a wedding to have a fashgasm?

The Ever After bride's band is L$700, groom's is L$550; very reasonably priced for such detail. The rings have presence, as you can see from the picture (above left). The bling on the bridal band is subtle, the groom's band does not bling. The prim work is devilishly divine, and the platinum texture is rich with realism.

I had a few questions for Accacia and she most graciously responded:

Fashion Fitz: How long have you been in business?
Accacia Brissot: My partner Ronin Stormwind and myself
started our store Infernal in, I believe, late Dec. 2006.

Pictured below is the wall of wedding selections at Infernal. Wedding related items are in the room on the left after you walk through the doors of Hades. *giggles*
Fashion Fitz: Do you plan on expanding your bridal line?
Accacia Brissot: As far as the creation of new rings, that will happen for sure. It's on my mind. I know I would love to do some more traditional ones. I have a few ideas in my head. I'd like to do some gothic ones as well. Actually, you probably gave me some inspiration to start on them! lol I keep getting side-tracked by other things I love; such as, shoes and boots...that's been my new thing as of late!

Thanks for the interview Accacia, and keep up the great work! Be sure to go check out Ronin and Accacia's diverse collection of goodies: from jewelry to bondage to bridal, you won't be disappointed with Infernal!

Feckin' Fun!

Harrd Rhode and I decided that our buddy, Kealan Klata, needed some help with his bed. I should've taken a before picture, because things got a bit hairy (yes, we went shag...) prior to Harrd's final edit of Kealan's bed! What was once bordello red and purple velvet with wood accents is now the lovely feckin' vision you see before you! Improvement?

Kealan doesn't seem to think so! Innocent lil' ol' me being choked mercilessly for ruining Kealan's expensive bed! Personally, I think it's an enhancement (like my breasts *smiles*)! Thanks, Harrd, for making me need to wear Depends from laughing so much!

In case you didn't notice, this post is not about the fashion! Here's a little fashBit for you anyway: my outfit is G.L.A.M. Couture "Satin Pantsuit with Bowtie Neck." Remember to have a little fun while you're looking fashUlickin' good!
